Hey, I’m Patrick. I’ve lived in Munising since 2013. I run a couple of vacation rentals and spend a lot of time chasing good light with a camera. The Upper Peninsula slowed me down in the best way—more sky, more shoreline, more time to breathe.

My main tools are a Hasselblad medium-format camera and a DJI Mavic 3 Pro drone, which I use to capture everything from sweeping aerial landscapes to fine-detail shots. I work in real estate photography, aerial landscape photography, and astrophotography, bringing a mix of precision and creativity to every shoot.

Whether it’s a lighthouse under the northern lights, a shoreline at sunrise, or a property that needs to stand out, I aim to create images that feel true to the U.P. I like helping visitors and clients alike—showing them the places, angles, and moments that make this area worth exploring.

About the Adventure Optimizer

The Adventure Optimizer is a simple, fast tool to plan your day in the U.P. without backtracking. Set a radius, pick a direction, and filter for food, activities, shopping, gas, or services. It surfaces what’s actually close—and then lets you export to Google Maps so you can go.

Think of it as local knowledge in one place: tighter routes, fewer “are we going the right way?” moments, and more time doing the good stuff.
